Account data: name, email, password, profile details.

Business data: projects, invoices, payments, expenses, client portal content, files/links, and client messages.

Usage data: feature usage, clicks, page views, and general activity patterns to improve the product.

Technical data: device type, browser, IP address, and basic logs.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to run the Service, keep it secure, improve features, communicate with you, and send product updates or marketing emails (you can unsubscribe anytime).

3. Sharing and Service Providers

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with providers that help us deliver the Service:

Supabase: authentication and database.

Paystack: payment processing.

PostHog and Google Analytics: usage analytics.

Brevo and Resend: product and marketing emails.

Netlify and GitHub: hosting and deployment tooling.

4. International Processing

Your data may be processed in regions where our providers operate. We use reputable services and apply reasonable safeguards to protect your data.

5. Data Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion, we remove data from active systems within a reasonable time and may retain backups for up to 1 year.

6. Your Choices

You can access, update, export, or delete your data. You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link.

7. Children

Lance Vault is for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We’ll update the “Last updated” date and notify users of significant changes.
